The Katangi Water Project, launched in 2023, is now complete — and the impact has exceeded all expectations! Today, it provides clean, safe, and sustainable drinking water to over 24,000 people and their livestock, reaching far more lives than we ever imagined.

Access to clean water is already transforming health in the region, with a noticeable drop in typhoid and other waterborne diseases, especially among infants. But the ripple effect doesn’t stop there.

Thanks to this water source, sustainable agriculture is now thriving. Fruit trees and vegetables have been planted, and fresh produce is being harvested. A portion of the harvest will be sold, with proceeds set aside to maintain the water system — ensuring long-term sustainability.
