KATANGI WATER PROJECT

The Katangi water project we began last year is complete! It’s now pumping enough clean, safe and sustainable, drinking water for 15,000 people and their livestock-serving more people than we originally imagined. Clean water is lowering the cases of typhoid and other waterborne diseases, which affects the infant mortality rate. In addition, sustainable agriculture is now a reality! Fruit trees and vegetables have been planted. This fresh produce will be sold and a portion of the proceeds will be saved for maintenance of the system. To God be the glory!
